The City produces an annual wall calendar which is delivered to over 100,000 households.

The calendar features photos of the Geelong region and details a variety of events and activities which are scheduled to be held in the local region.

Photos for the calendar are selected through a process of submissions to an annual photo competition. Each year, hundreds of high-quality images are submitted by amazing local snappers and the winning entries are chosen by community voting.

This year, entrants were asked to submit images were ‘uniquely Geelong’ across four categories.

The four categories are nature, events and people, landscapes, and architecture and urban spaces.
