Through the survey, we want to understand why events such as this are important to you and the community.

Your answers to this survey will be used by the City of Greater Geelong.

The results will be used to understand the value of the event to our local community; how to shape and possibly make improvements to upcoming events.

This survey should only take a few minutes to complete, and you can go in the running to win a $50 voucher (terms and conditions below).

HEAD OF THE SCHOOLGIRLS' REGATTA COMPETITION

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By participating in this competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. The Promoter is the Greater Geelong City Council.

2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

3. Entry into the competition is limited to one entry per person.

4. Entry is open to any resident of Australia who is 18 years of age and over, or who is between 12 – 18 years of age with parental or guardian consent to enter. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, suppliers, associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter.

5. To enter this competition, you must complete the 2026 Ironman event survey by 1 April 2026.

6. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter the competition repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

7. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

8. The competition commences on 16 March 2026 and closes at 5pm on 1 April 2026.

9. One winner will receive a $50 voucher.

10. The prize draw will take place at the Promoter’s office at 137-149 Mercer Street, Wurriki Nyal Civic Precinct, Geelong on 2 April 2026.

11. The prize winner will be notified the following week of the draw by via email or phone. The Promoter’s decision is final and conclusive.

12. The prize will be deemed unclaimed if it is not collected as and when directed by the Promoter.

13. A further draw for the prizes, if unclaimed, may take place by the end of the corresponding month at the same place as the competition draw, but this is subject to change.

14. If this competition is interfered with in any way, or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

(a) to disqualify any entrant; or

(b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.

15. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

16. The Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including but not limited to, the following:

(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);

(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;

(c) any entry, prize or claim for a prize that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected

(whether before or after receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;

(d) any variation in prize value from that stated in these Terms and Conditions;

(e) any tax liability (including FBT) incurred by an entrant or winner; or

(f) use of the prize.

17.
