The land proposed for sale is located at 275 Forest Road South, Lara and is contained in the Certificate of Title volume 09623 Folio 672, being lot 1 TP99704 with an area of 7063m2 and shaded purple on the map below.
The land is within the Geelong Ring Road Employment Precinct (GREP) and is encumbered by an easement to the State Transport Authority (or successor) for rail purposes. The land will also be encumbered by a drainage easement.
In accordance with Section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020, community engagement is required and this provides the community the opportunity to give its feedback on the proposed sale.
In accordance with section 114 of the Local Government Act 1989 and Council's Community Engagement Policy, submissions are invited on the proposed sale of Certificate of Title Volume 09623 Folio 672, being Lot 1 on TP99704 and known as 275 Forest Road South, Lara.
A submission can be made by any person to the Council. All submissions will be considered.
If any person wishes to be heard in support of their submission, they must include their request to be heard in their written submission. This will entitle them to appear, either personally or by a person acting on their behalf, before a Submissions Review Panel. The date, time and location will be advised.
