At the Council meeting of 23 November 2021, Council resolved to proceed with entering into a lease with the Geelong Regional Library Corporation.

Overview

The City provides the following notice of its intention to enter into a new lease with Geelong Regional Library Corporation for the continued occupation of office space on level 4 of the Geelong Library Heritage Centre (shown hatched on the plan below), located at 49-51 Little Malop Street, Geelong 3220 comprising approximately 551m², for a term of five years and contained in Certificate of Title Volume 11796 Folio 745.




Submission process

In accordance with section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 and the City’s Community Engagement Policy, submissions are invited on the proposed lease of Level 4, 49-51 Little Malop Street, GEELONG VIC 3220. Any person may make a submission to the Council. All submissions will be considered.

If any person wishes to be heard in support of their submission, they must include in their request to be heard in the written submission. This will entitle them to appear either personally or by a person acting on their behalf, before a Submissions Review Panel. The date, time and location will be advised. Submitters should note that submissions are made available for public inspection upon request.
