2025 Geelong Youth Survey Engagement Report now available

9 December 2025

The 2025 Geelong Youth Survey Engagement Report presents the most comprehensive snapshot to date of young people’s experiences, needs, and aspirations across Greater Geelong. With over 3,500 participants - including young people aged 12–25, parents, carers, community members, and education staff - this report highlights the voices of a group often underrepresented in council engagement. Through a wide-ranging and inclusive process, we have gathered valuable insights into the challenges young people face, such as mental health, financial stress, and barriers to participation, as well as their hopes for more youth-friendly activities, greater inclusion, and stronger community connection. The findings will guide future youth development services and support a coordinated, evidence-based approach to making Greater Geelong a place where young people feel heard, supported, and empowered to shape their city’s future.

We invite you to explore the full report to discover what matters most to young people in our community and how we can work together to create positive change.
