Next Steps

Taking into account the consultation process and considering sustainable operational requirements. The City will proceed with replacing the grass area with the granitic gravel used throughout the park.

This choice will enable us to keep the park open to the community and our furry friends.

The works will include some minor regrading to reduce the low point within the existing grass area and additional trees to provide shade to the future gravel area. It is expected that a temporary closure of the park will be necessary to undertake the alterations to the surface, we will provide a clear timeline for these modifications once they are finalised.
