The City of Greater Geelong is refreshing its Invest Geelong prospectus to create a concise, visually compelling, and strategically aligned resource that reflects the region’s current and emerging investment opportunities.

This refresh supports the City’s new Economic Development Plan, Geelong on the Rise, which outlines a vision for Geelong to become a clever and creative international city. The refreshed prospectus will include a long-form document of up to 15 pages and nine short-form industry overviews aligned with growth sectors, all produced in both print and digital formats. These materials will serve as a blueprint for future investment engagement, support international delegation opportunities, and form part of a broader investment attraction toolkit to be shared with external agencies and organisations.

To ensure the prospectus reflects the full scope of opportunities across Greater Geelong, we are inviting feedback from business and industry stakeholders and the community through the City’s Have Your Say platform. Your input will help shape a resource that is relevant, engaging, and regionally unified.

The engagement will run from 7 November to 5 December 2025, with the prospectus due to be finalised by early 2026.

The Invest Geelong prospectus is a strategic document developed by the City of Greater Geelong to showcase the region’s strengths, growth industry sectors, and investment opportunities to local, national, and international investors.

The current prospectus is over a decade old and no longer reflects Geelong’s evolving economic landscape or strategic priorities. The refresh will ensure the document is concise, visually engaging, and aligned with the City’s new Economic Development Plan – Geelong on the Rise: an international clever and creative city 2024-2034.

The project will deliver a long-form prospectus (up to 15 pages) and nine short-form industry overviews (1–2 pages each), aligned with growth sectors. All materials will be available in both print and digital formats.

It will serve as a blueprint for future investment engagement, support international delegations, and form part of a broader investment attraction toolkit shared online with external agencies and organisations.
