The Industrial Land Supply Review 2025 assessed current and future industrial land across the municipality to understand supply, demand and long‑term economic needs.

Community and stakeholder engagement has now concluded. Feedback received informed the Review’s findings and recommendations.

The Final Report summarises what we heard through engagement, what changed as a result, and how the Review will be used to support future strategic planning.

The Review identifies emerging supply constraints but confirms there is sufficient industrial land overall. The key challenge is to strategically establish a clear hierarchy, and to plan the timing and sequencing of industrial land release, which will be progressed through preparation of an Industrial Land Strategy.

  • What Happens Next

    The Industrial Land Supply Review 2025 will inform Council’s ongoing strategic planning work, including preparation of an Industrial Land Strategy and updates to the broader strategic planning framework. The Review will also support future planning scheme amendments and Council advocacy related to infrastructure and freight priorities.
