The City has received requests to seal the laneway between 15 and 17 Coquette Street, Geelong West.

Before we proceed any further, we would like to understand the level of support for the sealing of this laneway. It is likely that this type of road sealing would be done as part of our Special Rates and Charge scheme process.

While we can only provide accurate figures after a detailed design is complete, our early estimate is that property owners would be required to contribute about $10,000 to the project. It would also take up to five years to complete the works.

If supported, investigation works are likely to commence in the 2023/24 financial year.
