Under the draft plan, extra sealed car parking would be provided in the north of the park, in the south-east corner as part of the new mixed-use precinct, and in the south-west of the reserve. The result would be an increase in the number of sealed car spaces overall.

The sealed car parking would allow for the efficient use of space, and could change to timed parking to ensure it serves the needs of park users first and foremost.

Internal roadways would be reduced to remove public drive-through access, creating a safer environment for pedestrians and families every day.
