Welcome
In accordance with Section 115(4) of the Local Government Act 2020 and Council’s Community Engagement Policy, we are informing the community of our intention to enter into a lease agreement with Powercor Australia Ltd (Powercor).
This lease is for the site of a power substation at Armstrong Creek Sports Centre, 10 Bird Rock Road, Armstrong Creek as shown on the plan below. The substation is necessary to provide adequate electrical supply to the Armstrong Creek Sports Centre.
The City intends to enter into a lease for the substation site, with an initial term of 30 years and an additional 20 year term, to safeguard Powercor’s asset.
