Proposed Road Discontinuance and Sale of a road reserve abutting 91 Little Myers Street, Geelong.

The Greater Geelong City Council (Council) proposes to discontinue a small road reserve (33.8m2 parcel of land) which is a spur off Benson Street, Geelong in accordance with Part 3 of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1989. (See Location Map)

The Council now invites you to make a submission on the proposed discontinuance.

If the discontinuance is completed the land will be sold in accordance with section 114 of the Local Government Act 2022 to the abutting owner of 91 Little Myers Street, Geelong.

In accordance with section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989, submissions are invited and will be considered by Council.

If any person wishes to be heard in support of their submission, they must include in their submission a request to be heard. This will entitle them to appear personally or by a person acting on their behalf, before a Submissions Review Panel. The date, time and location of any panel hearing will be advised.

Submissions on this matter must be received by 5pm 14 January 2023.
