At its ordinary meeting on Tuesday 23 June 2026, Council will be asked to consider a report, including a submission from a property owner regarding the cost apportionment methodology used to inform this scheme.
Should Council declare this scheme, levy notices will be issued to all property owners.
The personal information and feedback (collectively the Data) requested on this page is being collected by City of Greater Geelong (City) for the purpose of the Newcombe Street, Drysdale (Waterway Court to No. 60) SRC 377project, and any other directly related purpose (Project).
A de-identified engagement summary report may be published on our website.
If your personal information is not collected, the Project may not be able to be adequately conducted, and the City may not be able to contact you for further questions or to find solutions.
In order to collect and conduct in depth and detailed analysis of the Data for the purposes of the Project, the City will disclose the Data (including your personal information if provided) to its third-party service providers, including Social Pinpoint Pty Ltd, Converlens Pty Ltd and Amazon Web Services.
Other than as stated above, your personal information will not be disclosed to any external party without your consent, except as required or authorised by law

Intention to Declare Submission period open
At its ordinary meeting on 24 February 2026, Council resolved their intention to declare the Special Rate and Charge Scheme to seal Newcombe Street, Drysdale from No. 60 to Waterway Court. A public notice was published in The Times newspaper on Friday 6 March 2026. A copy of the notice was sent to all property owners the same day (6 March 2026).
The submission / objection period will be open from Friday 6 March 2026 and will close on Friday 10 April 2026.
