Welcome

The Portarlington Community Facilities Study is being undertaken to understand the existing and future demand for community facilities, programs and services in Portarlington.

We're seeking community feedback to learn about what type of facilities and services are currently available, how they are being used and what is required to meet current and future needs of the community.

This includes:

  • Community meeting spaces
  • Library services
  • Early Years services for babies, toddlers and children
  • Social, cultural and wellbeing programs for all ages

'Phase One' engagement wrap

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the first phase of engagement on this project; the Engagement Summary Report provides an overview of what you told us and is now available.

30 written submissions, 19 stakeholder meetings, 167 survey responses and 40 people following the project

Next steps

The engagement findings are being considered as part of the draft Issues and Opportunities Paper, which is anticipated to be released for community feedback in August 2022.

The project timeline has been reconsidered to allow for the Census 2021 data, enabling important new information about the Portarlington community to be considered in our planning.
