Proposed Road Discontinuance and Sale at the rear of 35 Villamanta Street, Geelong West.
The Greater Geelong City Council (City) proposes to discontinue and sell a part of Timms Lane (25m2) at the rear of 35 Villamanta Street, Geelong West in accordance with section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989.
The Council now invites you to make a submission on the proposed discontinuance.
If the discontinuance is completed the land will be sold in accordance with section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 to the adjoining owner of 35 Villamanta Street, Geelong.

In accordance with section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 and Council's Community Engagement Policy, submissions are invited on the proposed discontinuance and sale of part of Timms Lane at the rear of 35 Villamanta Street, Geelong West. All submissions will be considered.
If any person wishes to be heard in support of their submission, they must include their request to be heard in the written submission. This will entitle them to appear either personally, or by a person acting on their behalf, before a Submissions Review Panel. The date, time and location of the panel hearing will be advised.
Submissions on this matter must be received by 5pm Monday 27 November 2023.
