Welcome

The Covid-19 Youth Impact Report is a research project undertaken by the City of Greater Geelong’s Youth Development Unit with the aim of better understanding the ongoing impacts that the Covid-19 pandemic is having on young people in the Greater Geelong region.

Through a review of current literature and a local survey, this report will:
  • Highlight the areas of concern for young people that arose during the Covid-19 pandemic
  • Provide recommendations for how The City of Greater Geelong’s future work can best support young people in our community.

We’d love to hear from you about your experience of the Covid-19 pandemic – just a few quick questions.

Due to the busy school holiday youth hub programs, we were unable to conduct face-to-face surveys at our Norlane, Whittington and Armstrong Creek hubs.

However, now schools are back we will be focusing our efforts on promoting the Covid-Youth Impact Survey through secondary schools in the region so keep an eye out on your school newsletter.

If you would like to promote the survey within your school or youth organisation please contact the officer listed in the 'Contact Us' section of this page to access a write up and QR code to share on your newsletter or socials.
