Lt Malop Street Automatic Bollards – Restricted Vehicle Access Business Survey

We are seeking feedback at the halfway point of the 12 month trial to restrict vehicle access within the Lt Malop Street hospitably precinct.

In March 2023, automatic rising bollards were installed to prevent vehicles from entering the precinct daily from 10am until 4am the following morning.

The purpose of the trial is to create a safe zone for pedestrians and increase space for activations. However, data collected from the access codes shows that up to 40 vehicles a day are entering the precinct after 10am.

Your feedback now, and again at the conclusion of the trial, will form part of the report back to Council. It will also provide opportunity to consider the fine-tuning of aspects of the trial now.

This survey is sent to businesses, residents and property owners within the precinct who have been issued an access code for the automatic bollards.

Please provide your feedback below.
