At its meeting on Tuesday 28 April 2020, the City of Greater Geelong Council resolved to give public notice that Council has prepared its Council Plan 2018-22, Update 2020-21, Proposed Budget for the 2020-21 financial year a and Rate Declaration and Rating Strategy (1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021).

The Council Plan 2018-22 - Putting Our Community First outlines 11 key strategic areas for focus as we strive to reach the community’s long-term vision for a clever and creative future. It guides the City of Greater Geelong's resources to deliver infrastructure, services and programs in a sustainable way over the next four years. The plan has been updated in line with the Proposed 2020-21 Budget. It also acknowledges the importance of prioritising the community response and recovery to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Submissions on the Council Plan 2018–22, Update 2020-21 or Proposed 2020-21 Budget (including Differential Rates) must be done in writing by 5.00pm, Tuesday 26 May, 2020.

Council’s Submissions Panel will meet on Wednesday 3 June, 2020 to consider all submissions.
