Fair Play Policy endorsed by Council

Following a four-week community engagement period across July and August 2025, the Fair Play Policy was endorsed by Council at its meeting on 25 November 2025.

Thank you to all clubs for your valuable contributions. Your feedback has helped shape a policy that supports fair, consistent and transparent access to community sports facilities.

The Policy will commence on 1 July 2026. From this date, the City will become responsible for sports lighting maintenance, and new arrangements such as proportionate playing field fees and pre-season use charges will come into effect.
