Little Malop Street, between Moorabool and James Streets, is a key hospitality and entertainment district in central Geelong. To enhance its growth and visitor experiences, it has been transformed into a vibrant laneway that prioritises pedestrians and accommodates outdoor dining, events, and street activations.

We are seeking your feedback regarding vehicle access on Little Malop Street from authorised users of the automated bollards located at the intersection of Denny’s Place and James Street.

The automated bollard trial officially began in June 2024. Since then, it has significantly reduced the number of vehicles in this shared space. Now, one year later, the City is evaluating the impact and success of the trial, as well as exploring ways to further improve the precinct.

This survey is sent to businesses, residents and property owners within the precinct who have been issued an access code for the automatic bollard.

Please take our survey below which consists of multiple choice, multi check box and an open text question, and will take you approximately 5 minutes to complete.

Your feedback is important to us.
