We are reaching out to residents of Ozone Road, Barwon Heads to confirm your current support for installing two raised intersections on your street at Margate St and Seaview Ave.
This treatment will assist in slowing down vehicles travelling through Ozone Road and improve safety for all road users.
As part of the 2021 Barwon Heads Transport and Parking Study, 93% of the community initially supported implementing raised intersections in Ozone Road, Barwon Heads.
Given the time that has passed, we are now seeking formal confirmation to ensure continued support.
The map below highlights the locations for the proposed raised intersections. We also plan to seal the entrance to the Seaview Ave car park whilst we do these works.
There will be no impacts to parking as part of this project.
For the project to proceed, a majority of resident support is required. If approved, construction will take place in the 2024/2025 financial year, outside of peak times.
