The City of Greater Geelong, acting in accordance with section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 and the City's Community Engagement Policy, is seeking community feedback on a proposal to sell the land located at 21-25 Oakden Road, Drysdale known as Certificate of Title volume 10256 folio 628, Lot 1 PS344285L and outlined blue on the plan below.
The land was originally acquired by the former Shire of Bellarine through a combination of purchase and developer contributions designated for open space. Historically, it has been used as an unconstructed car park associated with the nearby cemetery. However, the cemetery itself provides sufficient on-site parking.
The land measures approximately 2,962m², is zoned for residential use and is considered surplus to the City's requirements.

Submission details
We invite community feedback on the proposed sale of this land. The Council will consider all submissions. Should the Council decide to proceed, the land will be offered for sale through a public process. Please note: we are not accepting purchase or development offers at this stage.
If you wish to be heard in support of your submission, please include a request to be heard within your written submission. This will entitle you, or someone acting on your behalf, to appear before a Submissions Review Panel. The date, time and location will be advised.
