October 2025 Update:

The City of Greater Geelong, acting in accordance with section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 and the City's Community Engagement Policy, is seeking community feedback on a proposal to sell land located at 36 Dudley Parade, St. Leonards known as Certificate of Title volume 8424 folio 372 – Lot 36 on LP005058 and outlined blue on the plan below.

The land has previously been leased to the Country Fire Authority (CFA) for a fire station facility. The CFA has relocated to a new station facility in St. Leonards.

The fire station sheds located on the City's land were previously classified for Fire Station use. Due to their condition, the sheds were not suitable for retention or reclassification for an alternative purpose. These buildings have now been removed, leaving a parcel of vacant land measuring approximately 1,012m². The land is zoned for residential use and is considered surplus to the City’s requirements.
