Welcome
The City of Greater Geelong is proposing to name three unnamed roadways in South Geelong being the rear access lanes to a section of Verner Street and Foster Street, South Geelong.
The new names chosen for this section of roadway are Graphite Lane, Flint Lane and Cinder Lane.
The road naming is being completed in accordance with the Naming Rules for Places in Victoria by linking the name to place. These names reflect the area's history, referencing the former Coal Briquette Depot near the South Geelong Train Station.
