The City of Greater Geelong is proposing to name an unnamed roadway in Newtown which is the access to Leach Wood Gardens, Newtown.

The new name chosen for this section of roadway is Leach Wood Lane, Newtown.

This road renaming is being completed in accordance with the Naming Rules for Places in Victoria by linking the name to place.

Submissions in regards to this naming are open until 25 November 2023.
