We are reaching out to residents of Seaview Ave, Barwon Heads, to confirm your current support for installing speed humps on your street.
As part of the 2021 Barwon Heads Transport and Parking Study, 67% of the community initially supported traffic-calming measures for Seaview Ave.
Given the time that has passed, we are now seeking formal confirmation to ensure continued support.
The map below highlights the locations for the speed humps, positioned near power poles with lighting for night-time visibility and spaced at regular intervals and spaced away from the current slow points.
For the project to proceed, a majority (50% or more) of residents support is required.
If approved, construction will take place in the 2024/2025 financial year, outside of peak times.
