Community Panel Expressions of Interest

We are seeking expressions of interest from people who wish to participate in this process and join our City of Greater Geelong Community Panel. We are looking forward to your insights and ideas for the future of Greater Geelong, its people and communities.

The in-person panel sessions will take place on the below dates and times:

Saturday, 21st March 2026: 10am - 4pm

Saturday, 28th March 2026: 10am - 4pm

You will receive a $100 volunteer payment to acknowledge and thank you for your time, received at the end of the two sessions. You must be able to attend both sessions.

Please indicate on the form if you require any support to participate. If you are selected, we will contact you to discuss how we can best assist you. If you have any trouble answering these questions or prefer to provide your answers over the phone, please call (03) 5272 5272.

Your privacy is important to us. The selection will anonymously consider things like age, gender, education, where you live and household structure to select a group of people that reflect the diversity of the Greater Geelong community.

The majority of survey questions are mandatory for accurate panel selection, but your participation is voluntary. All information will be kept confidential and stored securely and used only for statistical analysis and panel selection by the City of Greater Geelong. By submitting this form, you consent to your data being used for these purposes.

You will be notified in the week commencing the 9th of March and will be required to confirm your acceptance soon after.

The personal information and feedback (collectively the Data) requested on this page is being collected by City of Greater Geelong (City) for the purpose of the 2026-27 Council Budget Process, and any other directly related purpose (Council Budget Process).

A de-identified engagement summary report may be published on our website.

If your personal information is not collected, the Council Budget may not be able to be adequately conducted, and the City may not be able to contact you for further questions or to find solutions.

In order to collect and conduct in depth and detailed analysis of the Data for the purposes of the Council Budget Process, the City will disclose the Data (including your personal information if provided) to its third-party service providers, including Social Pinpoint Pty Ltd, Converlens Pty Ltd and Amazon Web Services.

Other than as stated above, your personal information will not be disclosed to any external party without your consent, except as required or authorised by law
