We have recently included a HYS Page Checklist to our toolkit - this checklist is available under 'Guides and templates' on the ENGAGE HUB and was created to guide you through the stages of your page, a list of items required to be done, points to be considered and to ensure a consistent approach for our platform.
Some other helpful hints below.
A lot of our traffic is via mobile phones, it is recommended that you view you page in a phone format.
To do so go to settings in top task bar, click on mobile devices, choose iphone 6.
You will note that everything on the right hand side of your page moves to the bottom - something to consider depending on your audience.
When creating a social map and collecting username (ticked on in tools) to include this wording: -
“Please note your username and response will be shown publicly”.
The City recently adopted the use of Wadawurrung Country in full addresses to acknowledge the Traditional Owners.
We are looking for suggestions for other ways we can recognise and acknowledge our Traditional Owners on HYS or supporting engagement material.
