We're inviting Greater Geelong residents to join a new community group that will help shape how the City applies Special Rate and Charge (SRC) schemes.

SRC schemes are a collaborative funding approach where the costs of infrastructure upgrades are shared between the City and the property owners who directly benefit.

This model enables faster delivery of local improvements such as sealing roads, building footpaths, constructing kerbs and channels, and installing stormwater drains - enhancing local areas sooner than through standard council funding alone.

Applications are open to community members aged 18 plus who reside within the City of Greater Geelong municipality.
