Develop soccer pitches and a new pavilion in the southern section of the reserve, and relocate the Surfside Waves Soccer Club to the reserve.

Seasonally allocate the northern oval to the Surfside Waves Soccer Club for junior soccer as the priority winter sport, and to the Cobras Junior Football Club for overflow junior football, as may be required and can be scheduled around soccer use.

Seasonally allocate the northern oval to the Wallington Cricket Club as its overflow oval.

Pavilion

The soccer club will be consulted in the development of the Master Plan for Devlins Rd Reserve as well as the design of the new pavilion.

The new pavilion will include as a minimum:

• Social room
• Change rooms
• Female friendly amenities
• Storage
• Kiosk
• Toilets
• Referee rooms
• First aid

Soccer pitches

Soccer pitch provisions for the Southern section include as a minimum:

• Installation of two (2) compliant senior soccer pitches side by side in the preferred north-south direction.
• Irrigation.
• Perimeter fencing with accessible pedestrian entry points and maintenance gates.
• Sports lighting to both playing pitches (minimum 100lux LEDs) with conduits, power supply and housings provided for future expansion to 150lux.
• Coaches boxes and player benches,
• Compliant soccer goals.
• Behind goal netting (northern and southern ends).
• Future provision for third junior pitch in an east-west direction

All soccer related works will be delivered in line with the standard provisions of facility provision for community sport and recreation as defined in:

• City of Greater Geelong’s Fair Play Strategy

• Internal path networks throughout the reserve
