The following outlines indicative annual licence fees for markets:

• $1,100 for markets with fewer than 10 stalls
• $1,600 for markets with 10–14 stalls
• $1,600 plus $80 per additional stall (per market) for 15 or more stalls

Steampacket Gardens – Site Capacity

Site 1 at Steampacket Gardens can accommodate up to approximately 140-132 stalls, subject to final layout and approval of an operational plan.

Fee Example (132-stall market)

Assuming a market with 132 stalls (117 stalls above the 15-stall threshold):

• 117 stalls × $80 = $9,360
• Base licence fee = $1,600

Indicative annual licence fee:

Operating Frequency

The indicative fees above are based on monthly market operations over a 12-month period. Pro-rata rates will apply depending on the approved operating plan and event frequency.

Community Organisations

Community-based not-for-profit organisations may be eligible for a 50% fee reduction, subject to assessment.
