Project Update

9 August 2021

The next stage of community engagement is now open for feedback until 17 September, 2021.

Previous community consultation on the Draft UDF was conducted from March to August 2020. Following this consultation the UDF was refined to respond to key concerns around building heights, amenity and traffic impacts.

The Interim Final UDF outlines guidelines and controls for future development, provides for more 'greening' opportunities and guides future investment in three precincts - the Heritage Core (retail and activity centre), Pakington North and Gordon Avenue.

The Interim Final UDF and Summary Brochure can be viewed and/or downloaded from the project page.

The City now invites all members of the community to make an online submission on the Interim Final UDF through the project page, or via email to urbandesignandheritage@geelongcity.vic.gov.au or by writing to the Urban Design and Heritage Unit at Wadawurrung Country, PO Box 104, Geelong, VIC 3220.

Thank you for your interest in this project.
