From time to time the City, or market research agencies working on our behalf, may contact you to conduct a community or customer satisfaction survey.
All responses and details remain confidential and are not shared with the City – we only see the overall results.
We will post information about these surveys below so that you can be confident the person you are speaking to, or have received an email from, is who they say they are.
The Victorian Government undertakes a survey on behalf of local councils to measure the community’s perception of our performance over 12 months.
The survey occurs quarterly and involves a total of 600 telephone interviews, conducted by an independent research agency.
The next quarter surveys will be conducted between 15 August to 15 September, 2024.
If you receive a phone call, we encourage you to take this opportunity to provide your feedback.
We've engaged in independent researcher, ASDF Research, to randomly sample and contact 10,000 households across Greater Geelong throughout August/September to help us understand the health and well-being of our community.
Residents will be randomly selected and invited to participate; the survey can only be completed by those selected in this way.
Residents might receive an invitation by email or letter or a phone call from 0489 926 599 to complete this voluntary and anonymous survey.
The personal information requested by the National Field Services is being collected on behalf of the City of Greater Geelong for the purpose of measuring the community’s perception of our performance over 12 months or any other directly related purpose. If the personal information is not collected, we may not be able to contact you for further questions or solutions. Your personal information will only be disclosed to carry out a deeper analysis of the data* or as required to do so by law. Our privacy policy is available on our website.
