In 2022-2024, the City in partnership with key community stakeholders and the local community, completed a project to explore the future of the Whittington Link social infrastructure.

A 'Whittington Link Social Infrastructure Planning Report' has been developed based on community and stakeholder feedback.

The aim of this project was to develop a preferred Concept Design Plan for a multi-purpose community hub to serve the Whittington community. During our engagement, we heard that there are multiple options for how the social infrastructure can be improved. This led to development of the 'Whittington Social Infrastructure Planning Report.' This Report presents multiple options for future consideration, each of which would require additional funding for further planning and analysis. We are sharing this report for your information only.

There is currently no funding allocated to the further planning or construction of any of the options outlined in the Report. The City will continue to advocate for funding for improvements to the social infrastructure in Whittington Link.
