The AA tool will analysis the data and add results to a data table, including sentiment, key phrases, named entities etc. You can manually override the sentiment (Positive, Mixed, Negative, Neutral) if you feel the AA has it incorrect.

Sentiment

• Positive
• Mixed - Indicates a tone that has both positive & negative elements.
• Negative
• Neutral - Indicates a response that does not strongly express an emotional tone in a positive or negative direction.

In the analysis tool, you can select which questions you wish it to apply to. However it will only be applicable to short and long text responses, not drop down answers.

You can also tag your responses (however this is a manual process), but will produce wordclouds in you summary report. Click back to read more about tagging.
