Thanks to everyone who contributed. The Municipal Road Management Plan was adopted unanimously by Council on Tuesday 25 June 2021.

Welcome

We are currently reviewing our Municipal Road Management Plan. The purpose of the review is to assess our current practices while taking into account financial considerations, community expectations, and service delivery priorities.

The Road Management Plan outlines our approach to:

  • Inspection regimes - how often we inspect roads and footpaths
  • Hazard interventions - what defects we repair (potholes, trip hazards, etc) and what severity requires repair
  • Repair timelines - how long we have to repair these defects

Engagement with the community is an essential part of the Road Management Plan review. We encourage you to review the proposed plan and provide feedback via the form below.

Alternatively, you can make a submission by writing addressed to the City's Senior Asset Management Engineer, Steven Quick, via the details provided under the Contact Us section.
