Construction is complete

We worked with the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation, Norlane Community Initiatives and local stakeholders to redevelop the public space at Labuan Square in Norlane!

Labuan Square is a valuable local community place to shop, meet friends and socialise and we are keen to create a redeveloped public space to meet the needs of the local community.

We heard your vision and ideas through the survey for Labuan Square, which prioritised sustainable landscapes, playful elements, technology, public art, al fresco opportunities and spaces to socialise as key features you would like to see included in the concept design.

Your ideas and suggestions have helped inform the development of a concept design for Labuan Square's public space. Detailed design has been completed and construction is underway and scheduled for completion in June 2023.

A community celebration is planned for October 2023
