Stage 2 of our community engagement runs until 13 December 2021. The information gathered will help to refine the criteria for our proposed options. A summary of the engagement results will be available online in early January 2022.

The flood study will form part of a Catchment Management Strategy for Clifton Springs and Drysdale which will inform the review of

• current response, maintenance, and operations procedures;
• maintenance schedules for large pipes and pipes with low design grade; and
• the Municipal Flood Emergency Plan (MFEP).

We will also review properties within the catchment to see if a flood designation or flood-related planning overlay is required. Property owners will be notified in mid-2022 if their land is liable to flood.
