The Indented Head Woodland Nature Reserve is located on the western boundary of the township of Indented Head. The 13.6-hectare reserve is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna.
As part of the City's commitment to protect, enhance and restore our region's biodiversity, we are developing a master plan for the reserve to help guide long-term planning.
The plan provides an overarching vision and guidance for the reserve; outlines the desired outcomes; recommends suitable opportunities and priority actions to be implemented in protecting and enhancing the natural values of the reserve; and passive recreational activities to enjoy and build appreciation for these natural values.
The plan considers:
Community input into future planning is vital to achieving outcomes for the reserve that represents the aspirations and needs of the community.
We’d love to get your input into the concept plan that will feed into the Master Plan for Indented Head Woodland Nature Reserve.
You can provide your feedback by taking our survey below.
Further opportunities to participate at this early stage include a community consultation meeting and site tours of the reserve.
You can follow this page by clicking on the +follow button in the blue banner to receive regular updates.
An Engagement Report will be prepared that summarises the feedback we receive during the consultation and how it has been considered in developing the master plan. The Engagement Report will be available for viewing on this Your Say page.
